How you opt in to text messages
The text messages Muskie Meeting sends you aren’t marketing messages — they’re how we get you a secure payment link and your room’s door code. Agreeing to texts is entirely optional. The consent checkbox starts unchecked, the phone number field is optional, and your booking goes through either way. If you don’t opt in, we send exactly the same payment link and door code to your email address instead.
Where opt-in happens
Opt-in happens on our booking calendar, on the same step where you enter your contact details. Below the phone number field you’ll see the checkbox shown here. It is unchecked by default and is never required — the booking form submits whether or not you tick it:

What you get
Up to two (2) text messages per booking: first, a secure link to pay for your booking (this also places a refundable $200 damage-deposit hold); second, once payment is received, your door access code, your booking window, and directions to your room. No marketing, no third-party sharing for marketing purposes. Full detail in our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
If you don’t opt in
Nothing changes about your booking. We email your secure payment link to the address you gave us, and once payment is received we email your door access code, your booking window, and directions to the room. You will not receive any text messages from us unless you ticked the box.
Opt out anytime
Reply STOP to any message to opt out, and HELP for help. Opting out does not affect your booking — we simply email your payment link and door code instead. You can also reach us at contact@muskiemeeting.com or (630) 492-1164.
