About Muskie Meeting
Muskie Meeting is a private room inside the Shabbona Hotel building at 104 West Comanche Avenue, Shabbona, IL 60550, available to book by the hour — a good option if you need to meet a client, want a private space to work, or just want a fun space to hang out with friends. It’s not a place to spend the night. Muskie Meeting is a separate, independently operated booking — a single room within that building — and is not the Shabbona Hotel’s front desk or reception. When you book with Muskie Meeting, you’ll check in and access your room yourself using a private, one-time door code sent by text message shortly after you book. Muskie Meeting is owned and operated by Muskie Meeting LLC.

How it works
- Book your visit using the calendar below.
- Enter your mobile number when you book, and check the SMS consent box — that’s how we send your door code. See How You Opt In for exactly what that looks like.
- Get your door code by text, along with your check-in window and directions to your room, shortly after booking.
$200 Refundable Damage Deposit
When you book, you’ll get a text with a secure link to pay for your reservation. That same payment also places a $200 refundable damage deposit hold on your card — it is a hold, not a charge, and it is released as long as the room is left in the condition you found it.
Book Your Visit
When you book you’ll see an optional SMS consent checkbox below the phone number field. It starts unchecked, and your booking goes through whether or not you tick it — the phone number itself is optional too. Ticked, it reads: “I agree to receive text messages from Muskie Meeting about my booking, including a secure payment link and my door access code, at the phone number provided. Up to 2 msgs per booking. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel, HELP for help. See Terms at muskiemeeting.com/terms-of-service and Privacy Policy at muskiemeeting.com/privacy-policy” Leave it unchecked and we’ll email your secure payment link and, after payment, your door access code instead.
